For most individuals, one of the most common images that would come to mind when they hear the word “paradise” is the beach, most especially for surfers. But did you know that there are times that even the bravest among these men and women fear the ocean? That is most likely because of its dangerous rips. This is one of the few waves that they do not associate with “fun.” The reason for that is because it pulls people, especially the tired ones, away from the shore. Fortunately, if you can identify it, then it can be easily avoided. Here are some signs that might help you read the ocean. If there is a rip, you will probably see dark water, which indicates that it is deep. You should also watch out for brownish water, caused by the sand that is being stirred at the bottom. Furthermore, you will also see some debris floating as well as waves that are breaking further out on both sides.
